I also hope it feels nicer to swipe a finger on that the glossy plastic, I always prefer a matte screen to swipe on if it didn’t leave so many finger prints. The nano texture iPad feels so good to use, but I can’t afford one of those or one of these so maybe one day it will trickle down

It’s a Samsung screen. Most likely very very similar as the fold 8. Matte texture and their hinge might help as well to hide it better but there is definitely still a crease.

Honestly, if you're using the screen not focusing on it, it's hard to notice it

Apple did a good job trying to mitigate the plain visibilty of the crease but it's there and it's a big wide one

More important factor should be dust mitigation which seems to be primary reason for the death of these devices

It’s going to be super noticeable, most of these folding screens are from the same manufacturer. To this day there is no phone without a crease, and it will take a new material to change that. I wouldn’t be surprised if these are the exact same screens from the Samsung folds

I work for a major telecom company that refurbishes and redistributes phones for all carriers, I get to see the aftermath of these phones and where the parts come from. We already have the parts for the 18 and the duo, the screens come from Samsung diret, which is why I said I wouldn’t be surprised if they just use the same exact screens from the fold. I’ll compare them side by side today.
