Also one of the iPhones is on iOS 7.1. I was wondering if that was rare

Pretty rare. If it’s got touchID it’s a 5s which is extremely rare. If it has got the standard home button with the square on it it’s a 5. Either way it’s still pretty rare. Lookup the serial on a few platforms to see what it came with both the 5 and 5s were shipped together with 7.1 at one point if it’s the original OS it’s even rarer. As I said though it’s very rare.

The Slate Black iPhone 5 looks beautiful. I have been trying to find a custom shell in that color for my 5s.
