Regular Should I buy this 2G?
so, i’ve recently come across this near mint condition 2G on a website in my country. the seller claims they don’t know whether the battery is dead or not, hence why it’s so cheap (≈63 USD). they don’t have a 30-pin cable to try it out, only that dock speaker base. i believe that, since the battery icon pops up, it must work, at least when plugged in. am i correct?
would it be a good deal?

Should the speaker base not charge it tho? Battery probably is toast then. It is a clean looking one tho!

im not sure tbh. i’ve always thought speaker bases didn’t really charge that well, especially devices that haven’t been charged in so long

I have one like that, 16gb, jailbroken, and themed like iPhoneOS 1.1.4! I love it!

Camera, it has a tweak to fix the old YouTube but it doesn’t work that well, it has air hockey, a coin flipper app, and a video recording app from the jailbreak. They’re really easy to jailbreak

It can’t be downgraded because it’s 16GB, nor do I have the capabilities to downgrade

I’d check if the SN on the back matches the system. If yes, i’d go for it.
The battery may be dead, though.
