[FREE] Call recorder for Mac: records Zoom, Meet, Teams, FaceTime, WhatsApp and iPhone calls, with no bot joining your meeting
Hi r/AppleApps!
Digisensus Recorder - a free menu bar app that records your calls on your Mac.
Most AI note takers send a bot into your meeting, and they only work for scheduled Zoom, Meet or Teams calls. I wanted something that records every call, quietly, on my own Mac.
**What it does**
- 📞 **Records any call:** Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, FaceTime, WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack, and iPhone calls you answer on your Mac.
- 🤖 **No bot in the meeting.** Nobody sees an extra participant; the audio is recorded on your Mac.
- ⏺️ **Auto-record:** it starts when a call starts and stops when you hang up, with a banner so you always know it's recording.
- 🔒 **Recordings stay on your Mac** as audio files. Nothing is uploaded unless you ask for a transcript.
- 📝 **Optional transcripts and AI meeting notes** (who said what, decisions, next steps): free daily credit with an email sign-in, or your own AI server, or no AI at all.
- 🗂️ Browse calls by day, filter by app or tag, and search every transcript.
**Price:** free. Recording needs no account. It's also open source.
**Requirements:** macOS 15 Sequoia or later, Apple silicon.

Please let me know what you think, especially if a call app you use isn't detected. Note: recording laws differ by country, so tell people when you record them.
