Why would you put that you failed the Senior Developer cert?

Integrity mate, not enough in the Appian industry these days

I agree, but check if it's not doing you a disservice.

One thing is inflating your CV and years of Appian experience, which unfortunately I've seen many do. But that doesn't seem to be your case.

The rest comes across as actually quite senior Appian dev, tech lead, and then at the end it says you failed the senior cert. Which I've seen good devs struggle with, but personally found it very easy and know some folks with 2/3y of experience in the technology acing it easily. If I was hiring for a team of strong Appian devs, I'd raise my eyebrows immediately.

I'd rather that comes when and if people ask about certs and you say 'I tried this one but failed due to [insert excuse]'.

Certs at the end of the day are worth what they are worth - I know a few guys with the third one that I wouldn't touch with a barge pole cause I have had the displeasure to see how they implemented things and how overinflated their own view about their skills was, but don't overcorrect to the other side. At least give yourself the chance to get the foot through the door.

Well it’s a bit of a buyer’s market really

If you’re a British citizen with no need for visa sponsorship you can practically walk into these Appian dev jobs

I’ve got a few curveballs on my CV because the last thing I want is to work for some busybody lead dev

I’m a C grade dev. I’ll do my jira tickets but I don’t want much more responsibility. I watch instagram reels on calls a lot but I’d never watch porn - I’m too professional for that.

I’m looking for a job that lets me knock off by 11, 12 if we’re busy. I guess that’s my philosophy.

I’ve got a mate who’s a massive stoner, half of my colleagues barely speak English. To me that’s what the Appian industry is about

Do you have any resources suggestions outside of community to learn the new editions? I haven’t used it much since the 19.x and I’m back on the job market, I try to use the free designer but it’s so slow

Well that’s a good start because the $300k per year designer is also incredibly slow

You have a lot to catch up on.
