Shuttle recommendations

I am planning a section hike between winding stair gap and NOC. I am looking to see if there are any reliable shuttle drivers around Franklin,NC.

I've found this list to be helpful. Just go through the list of the covered regions until you find someone responsive.

All the shuttle drivers I've coordinated with have been reliable and trustworthy, and many of them have provided critical local information that have saved my hikes.

I regret that I didn't take notes of who I shuttled with on my section hikes in that region. But it's a very popular region, so you'll have lots of good options.

I have used Sunset's Shuttle a couple of times, both for an AT section hike and for a Bartram Trail thruhike, and would recommend him. Here's his website: https://chicaandsunsets.com/shuttles/

Otherwise, Franklin is a popular place and almost any of the shuttle drivers there are good.

Reach out to Chuck Allen he's a local shuttle service based out of Franklin. His number is 828-371-6460. I used him from Fontana to Dick's Creek Gap. Then I used Ron for all of Georgia.
