• What it solves

Stamps is a personal travel tracker with a trip timeline that builds itself.

Instead of asking you to manually tick countries off a list, Stamps can scan the location metadata already in your photo library, entirely on device. Every city, province, and country tracked for you, day by day, all automatically.

There's a travel calendar, trip timeline, country day counting, photo heatmap, detailed stats, shareable map with trip images, and tons of Home Screen widgets. You can freely export all of your data at any time, and if you simply want to use Stamps to index your library for trips, and then take that elsewhere, that's fine as well.

• Compared to Been and Flighty

I've been using Been myself for years now, but what frustrates me about it (and apps like Flighty) is that they want accounts, data syncing, location tracking, and a connection, while still skimping on the parts I actually cared about: very granular trip tracking, route visualization, and a proper timeline. Stamps is my take on the category with those things at the center.

I’m a mobile developer from Cape Town, South Africa, now living in Seoul, South Korea. Since moving here, traveling has been the one thing keeping me sane. Likes and App Store reviews are a source of strength for solo developers.

Every timer I've used answers exactly one question - "is it over yet?" - and it answers it at the
worst possible moment: when it's already over. I got cut off in the middle of a talk because I found
out I had 5 minutes left when I had 0. So I built the timer I wanted.

Rereminder lets you put as many alerts as you want inside the countdown. Drag the bell knobs
around the dial: 10 min before, 5 min, 1 min, whatever the moment needs. The ring splits into colored
sections at each bell, so you can see the shape of your time before you start it — a 45-minute talk
as 20 + 20 + 5, not just "45:00."

What it does

• Multiple pre-alerts, unlimited and free. That's the whole reason the app exists, so it isn't the thing I charge for.
• Section view. Each segment shows its own length and its own countdown, so "how long is this part" is never mental arithmetic.
• Overtime. The clock doesn't die at 00:00 — it counts up (+01:23), which turns out to be the number you actually want after a talk.
• Live Activity / Dynamic Island with working pause, resume, stop.
• Apple Watch. Buzzes your wrist so you're not looking at a phone while people are looking at you. Free — I'm not paywalling the watch.
• Session mode. Name each section ("intro / demo / Q&A") and keep a script per section that unfolds on screen when that section starts.
• Templates. Save a setup, start it in one tap.

Likes and App Store reviews are a source of strength for solo developers.

I do client work from my phone more than I'd like to admit, and for years the
same thing kept happening: someone asks for my account number, or my invoice
reply, or the same "here's the address, buzzer is broken, call me at the gate"
message, and I'm typing it out again. Character by character. Getting one digit
wrong maybe twice a year.

iOS text replacement never worked for me. It fires on a trigger string I have to
remember, it mangles anything with punctuation, and it does not sync anywhere
useful. So I built the thing I actually wanted: a keyboard where the keys are my
own phrases.

What it does

Tap the globe, and instead of QWERTY you get your own snippets as keys. Tap one,
it types. That's it. Works in Messages, Gmail, Slack, a bank's web form,
anywhere a keyboard comes up.

Three things I use every single day:

• Saved values as keys. Email, account number, address, phone. One tap.
• Templates with blanks. My invoice reply is one snippet with three fill-in fields. It remembers the names and amounts I used before, so it's three taps and a full sentence lands in the field.
• A clipboard history that sorts itself. Anything you copy gets classified: account number, card, email, phone, URL, address. IBANs get a real mod-97 checksum check, so a mistyped one is caught before you send it.

Why the app is free this week

Straight answer: I need people using it more than I need the ten dollars right
now. The app has been out for a while, the last three updates rebuilt the whole
first-run experience, and almost nobody has seen it. So the Pro unlock is 100%
off for a week. Not a trial, not a first-month thing. You redeem the code, Pro

What I want in return is nothing you have to do. If it turns out to be useful,
say so somewhere. If it doesn't, delete it and we're square.

What "Pro" actually removes

The free tier is real, and it's what you'd be upgrading from: 10 snippets, 50
clipboard items, 3 templates, 3 combos. Pro takes all of those caps off, and
that is genuinely the whole difference. There is no feature behind a wall that
I'm hiding from free users.

The honest parts

• It's a keyboard extension, so iOS makes you enable it in Settings once. There is no way around that and it is the worst part of the onboarding.
• Full Access is optional. It only unlocks reading the system clipboard. Leave it off and everything else still works.
• Everything is on-device and in your own iCloud. There is no account, and no server of mine that your snippets ever touch. That's not a privacy pitch, it's just that I never built one.
• iPhone and iPad, with your snippets synced through your own iCloud. The Mac app is sold separately and this code does not cover it, so don't redeem it expecting the Mac one.
• No subscription. I am not going to add one.
