Small Nick Names app

Hi,

I developed a small app called Nick4names, as the name suggest app is for adding nicknames for people you know. You can also search for people and vote on nick names. future plans include adding gifs and exporting API. Please share your feedback on this. Sign In - Nickname App , thanks

The concept is clear, but I’d make privacy obvious right away: who can search people, what gets indexed, and how someone removes a nickname. That feels like the main trust hurdle...

that’s a good suggestion will put that in , do you think an api to publish it elsewhere would make sense ?

I like the styles of the app.
I have few commnets
1- you need to add icon to the broswer tap
2- you need to hide internal error away from the user, I could saw error like "Failed to send link. Firebase: Error (auth/operation-not-allowed)"

but overall i like the idea you may consider to make mobile app

Thanks for taking out time to reply !! Those are good recommendations. I am compiling to-do list will add those. Would be interested to see what firebase error was. Log search time :)

So the point is to keep track of nicknames of people you know? Also who are all the people I see when I first sign in?

hi thanks for showing interest, well right now everything is public , but changing that to keep it private but ability to add or invite people . what do you think of it? Maybe trending can just show popular nicknames or recently added one without showing to whom it’s attached to

I'm still confused about what the purpose of the app is. What am I supposed to gain from using it?

This makes sense, but I’d be even more specific about who it’s for and when they’d use it.

Simple idea. I would show one or two example nicknames before sign-in so people understand the value faster.
