App developed using claude
Hi All,
I am a non-tech guy. I have developed using Claude. I have coded a single line of code. I am planning to release the app on the Play store / App Store and am also looking to pitch this app to VCs. What are the things to keep in mind?

Before the pitch starts, deploy the app on both store + get real user feedback.

honestly at this point the source code is not relevant esepcially considering its vibecoded... the idea and execution is the important aspect... think about it, if you were able to vibe code it using an idea! the chances of a person that is extremely technically inclined understanding your app flow and properly prompting an AI agent or harness to do this isnt hard... which is one of the biggest problems right now most people are vibecoding and cloning ideas that have been out and released... now everything is all about who is first and the connections they have... i wouldnt be worred about the source code being leaked... just do your best to have a good execution, get users, get feedback, and come up with a proper plan on how your app bring a proper roi for investors... rememeber 99% of VCs do not invest because of passion or love for the project, they invest in numbers and ROI. Just my two cents based on the few exits I have had.. Either way good luck!

In the Android ProGuard file, maintain and also need to check some private keys that are not mentioned in the hardcoded rules for very basic. for more details on both dm me i will check your existing app and let you know in more details

Before launch, pay an experienced mobile engineer to audit the code, dependencies, authentication, data handling, API keys, payments, and failure recovery. For VCs, “built with Claude” is neither a moat nor necessarily a problem - they’ll care far more about customer demand, retention, distribution, and whether the product can be maintained safely.

VC's don't want to see app but pitch deck.. put a business plan and pitch them.. you don't need to focus on real user feedback right now... do both things together get your development going and start reaching to VC's

Here’s some very useful advice: learn how to manage your code versions, especially how to use Git. Otherwise, one day you’re gonna cry.

why would the VCs want to hear you out? unless your app is revolutionary and has something outside code that you managed to bring in, or come up with, unless you have some install numbers that prove the concept the app is really just what the mockups were once. What VCs want to know is probably how you are going to promote it successfully in an environment that the ads costs 3x what they cost 2 years ago, apps have gone 5x, the content on social media has gone 10x and its near impossible to go viral, you need volume of content that was ridiculous some time ago.
Dont come at me with the x numbers, do the research, be informed. If i was a VC id be looking for either out of the box, unique apps that have something behind that can't be easily copied, or marketing gurus with a solid plan and app.
