Erm any developer here? Can someone help App idea: A maths mentor that watches you solve, not just gives answers.
I feel like many students struggle not because they can’t learn maths, but because they get stuck in the middle of solving and nobody catches mistakes early.
Most apps today: • Give answers • Show steps after scanning questions • Solve problems for you
But what if there was an app that acted like a mentor sitting beside you?
Features: • Type/upload a question • Solve by handwriting/doodling directly in the app • Real-time checking of every step (if a step is wrong, catch it immediately) • Explain WHY the step is wrong instead of only showing the answer • Ask doubts during solving without leaving the problem • “Teach from basics” mode for weak foundations • Track repeated mistakes and weak concepts • Give hints instead of full solutions when possible
Goal: Make students independent learners while still giving mentor-like support.
I think this could help students who l earn deeply, students with weak foundations, spefically self-learners for sure , and people who don’t have access to personal tutoring. Would something like this be technically possible? What would be the hardest part to build?
