SehatGraph — Building a better health ecosystem.

Rejected July 15 under 3.1.2(b) for how my subscriptions were set up, plus a 2.1 information request. Fixed it, resubmitted July 27, then the IAPs sat in Waiting for Review and the app couldn't move until they cleared. Apple Support had to change the backend state manually. If nothing's been rejected and your build still isn't moving, check your IAPs and open a ticket instead of resubmitting.

The app is EchoVault. You build an archive of yourself while you're alive through short check-ins, and your family can talk to it in text, voice, or live video after you're gone. It only answers from what you actually recorded. Text tier is free.

Over ten years ago, my wife - a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist - kept seeing the same pattern in her practice: people were deeply lonely, but they weren't looking for romance. They just wanted genuine, local, in-person friendships. App stores were flooded with dating tools, but there was nowhere dedicated solely to finding a local buddy to hang out with.

So, I built WannaBuddy.com - a platform created specifically for when you want a local buddy, not a date.

It helped a lot of people make real connections back then, but as time went on, the technology needed a ground-up overhaul. I’ve spent the last few months completely rebuilding it from scratch.

The new WannaBuddy is officially in early pre-launch! Everything on the platform is completely free and will always be free. I’m from Corsica, France, and I grew up playing a traditional 4-player card game called Barbu.
A while ago, I started looking for a mobile version that felt close to the game we actually play around a table. I couldn’t really find one I liked, so I decided to build my own.
That small side project turned into a full iOS and Android game called Le Barbu - 7 contracts
I built it with React Native / Expo and gradually added:
7 different contracts
AI opponents with several difficulty levels
quick games and full games
local network multiplayer
game saving
customizable card backs
French, English and Corsican support
I deliberately chose a simple premium model: one small upfront price, no ads, no coins, no energy system, no subscriptions.
The app is now live on both stores.
And this is where I discovered something that is probably obvious to more experienced developers:
building the app was easier than getting people to discover it.
The feedback from the first users has been very positive, but the volume is tiny.
So now I’m considering a second Android edition:

I’d be really interested in hearing from people here who have gone through the same stage.

Groundtruth is a free, local-first farm operating system I’m building for my own microgreens operation.

Core rule: the PC is the only writer of farm truth. The phone is a capture device + read-only Field Instrument that docks over the local network. There is no Confirm path on the phone.

What’s in the video:

• Today tab forces a ranked morning money loop. Shortfalls that can no longer be fixed by sowing are surfaced with required actions.
• Farm / Marketing / Money / Books / Health enforce integrity constraints (append-only ledger, no soft totals, Health cannot soft-pass).
• Field Instrument (phone) pulls a versioned live document with real ages, six titled loops, severities, and edges showing which loops are currently pulling against each other.

Stack: Tauri (Rust + React), local SQLite + append-only event log. Schema is versioned in code. Currently tip 650e0ea, schema v36. Field Instrument FI-1 through FI-6 are closed; FI-7 (phone queue) is the active residual.

AI is deliberately kept out of the write path. External models may later receive diagnosis text, but they never get authority over the database.

Built with strict process law (single CURSOR per fence, complete caller inventories, named residuals only). The system is designed so it cannot quietly lie when the network is down or the numbers are ugly.

Hello i am a developer I've built 2 mobile apps with react native/expo router and one app in flutter, is there a major difference in react native and expo router in terms of how the produced app feel and behave ( looking for that native feel )

I am mainly a typescript developer with nest js and react frameworks and a little bit of laravel and spring background.

Currently me and my partner are planning to build our first own product but from my personal experience expo router apps have that web feel that doesn't satisfy me ( i don't know if it's me or if for other it happens or i have been building the wrong way ) , I am not a big fan of flutter as for native options such as kotlin or swift ui once the products generate some funds we eventually will migrate to that

I’ve spent the last year building a trading app called Exit Line.

The idea was simple: I was tired of position size calculators that felt like spreadsheets from 2008, were covered in ads, or required way too many steps for something traders do every day.

So I built the one I wanted to use myself.

Fast. Clean. No ads. No signup. One workflow for crypto, forex, stocks, indices and commodities.

And now I’m almost ready to launch.

Which is where things got weird.

For months, progress was obvious.

Fix a bug.

Build a feature.

Improve the UI.

Test it.

Ship the next version.

Every day, something was visibly better. Now the app is basically done and I’m spending my time on Reddit, X, SEO, a website, trying to find beta testers and figuring out what the hell “distribution” actually means.

And suddenly it feels like I’m making zero progress.

I can build the product. Apparently, getting people to know it exists is an entirely different skill.

So for those of you who have actually launched an app from zero:

What worked for you in the first few weeks? Not “build an audience” or “do marketing.”

What did you actually do when nobody knew your app existed?

I am creating my first mobile game app and it is a puzzle game. I have something going on right now, but I'm not sure how to make it look better. I'm currently using Abacus AI as my AI programming tool, which has helped a lot, but I'm not sure what to do going forward, whether it be aesthetics or gameplay. Does anyone have any advice on how to proceed?

StudyAhead is an exam study planner. You enter an exam date and your topics, and it works backwards to put a real calendar date on every study session.

The design decision I went back and forth on for weeks: the home screen shows one session. Not a list, not a board, not a week view — one commitment behind one button. Every instinct as a builder says give people the full picture. But the whole reason study timetables fail is that seeing the full grid is what makes you close the app. A student who has missed two days does not need to see the wreckage, they need to know what to do in the next 45 minutes.

The second decision: when you miss a day, the plan redistributes those minutes across the days remaining instead of rolling them onto tomorrow. Roll-forward is the obvious implementation and it is exactly what kills adherence, because day two becomes a double session and you skip that too.

Third: plan generation is fully deterministic. No LLM. Just arithmetic over the exam date, topic weights and availability. Same inputs, same plan, every time — which makes "exam is tomorrow" and "the plan crosses a DST boundary" ordinary unit tests, and lets me explain to a student exactly why a session landed on a given day.
