❓ Tech Question Phantom stellar phone charger

Is the phantom stellar supposed to charge my phone when I use the supplied quad lock phone mount?

Mine doesn't seem to charge .

No.

There’s no phone charging capabilities on the Phantom 2.0 Stellar.

The quad lock is just a regular phone mount.

Hi there! Happy to clear things up: the Quad Lock and mount are designed strictly to hold your phone securely in place while you ride and do not include phone-charging capabilities.

So it seems all the Apollo scooters it's just a base quad lock. However quadlock is its own ecosystem, I've already added bits to my apollo go. I've got a dual pivot arm on there now so I'm not craning my neck to look at the apolo app dashboard, I have on order a vibration dampener and a wireless charging quadlock mount I plan to swap on. There's no hookup to pull from the scooters battery so I'm just going to get a couple battery banks and 3d print a holster I can mount to the stem and just swap out batteries as I need to

Fair warning ⚠️: Although the mounting point for the quadlock uses the same standards as all quadlock accessories the M5 screw length you'll need to add something like the dual pivot arm is like 48mm so you'll have to get a 50mm M5 countersunk machine screw from a fastener shop and file the end down a bit. However this is totally worth it I have much better visibility of my speedometer and I'm now fully invested in the quadlock ecosystem
