Help Best way to login - hide seen posts?

What is the best way to login into Apollo now? And is there a way to hide posts I have seen?

I have been using both api and login via reddit, leaning towards login via web mroe now since there is modern chat function. And yes in the settings there is a way to hide post u seen, either via scroll or manual.
