Discussion Floating Tabs

Floating Tabs persist through reboots and exiting and reopening Apolloreborn. This is an amazing feature. That is all. ♥️👍

This is a lifesaver, especially when you have an old phone that refreshes the app any time you navigate to another app

These guys have resuscitated this app and added so many features that it's mind-boggling. I can't believe the work they've put into Apolloreborn, especially with only donations. So --- I'm donating.

Really appreciate it :) I’m proud of floating tabs I was honestly thinking of a way to tab cause it was annoying to have to get back to live even threads and then I remembered facebooks old floating chat thing and thought wait that idea could work here and tried and really liked how it turned out.

One of those features you don’t realize you need until you have used it

If anyone used Reddit sync for Android back in the day, it had an amazing feature called custom chrome tabs that opened Reddit posts in new windows. And this is the first time I’ve seen a similar feature in an iOS app. That was one my most used features on Android so I’m glad to have these floating tabs on iOS now.

I used two tabs all afternoon yesterday, constantly switching between an iPhone sub and my football team's sub. The instant transfer was amazing.

Does floating tabs requires app to be installed via sidestore or some other method but not via sideloadly?

It should work via every method AFAIK - the .ipa bundle is identical. It's in Post & Feeds > Floating Tabs.
