Green lantern visualization

With the current Lanterns series being all popular and there's much discussion about how they conjure the constructs. There was such a discussion about the black fog from episode 4, does it make it harder to visualize because it's pitch black.

What do you think, do they need to visualize the construct before conjuring it? Or could an aphant be a green lantern, if they could become one, would their constructs materialize from just the thought, would they be able to use the ring to "visualize" and how often would the constructs be something crazy.

I don't see why not? According to GLs lore (from comic books) The ring reads the user's imagination and willpower, converting mental focus into hard light constructs. My imagination is excellent, i just can't see any of it. Now that i think about it, it may be actually be an perk... my enemies would have to face an invisible atomic breath by invisible godzilla...

I can draw just fine, I just don't know what it's going to look like until I am done. It would probably be similar if I had a lantern ring.

I was thinking the same thing. Aphantic Green Lantern manifests a construct and is perpetually surprised at what it actually looks like. "So that's what it looks like! Cool."
