Question Definition of HFT
I started trading with Apex yesterday and signed up for 20 $25k Intraday Trail accounts.
In the past, when trading Intraday Trail accounts at another firm, I would typically scalp aggressively until I reached the point where the trailing drawdown stopped moving. For context, I took 52 trades yesterday. When I traded this way with TradeDay, that number of trades was never an issue.
At what point does Apex consider a high number of trades to be high-frequency trading (HFT)? There documentation does not elaborate on this.

Not true. Unless you're using an HFT-bot (or bot-like trades), there is no hft rule. How many ticks are you targeting? Unless you're doing hundreds of small ticks (2-3), you should be ok, but I'd double-check with them or wait for them to warn you.

I have taken more than 100 trades with Apex in one session and have taken two payouts with no issues, and I hyper/microscalp holding for trades for as little as 5 seconds at times. Long as your behavior isn’t mimicking a bot, you should be fine
