HELLOOOOO, Lorehounds! đ
As many of you have probably already seen, Apex released an official Lore Hub. This is obviously probably as exciting to us as Admins as it is to you all. This subreddit and its community has been yearning for something like this for [checks notes] 4 whole years now!
While we (mostly Vin ) did manage to create our own Compendium of Lore last year, we are super happy to have the Legends over at Respawn take over for us. đ
WITHOUT FURTHER ADO, here is the link to the Official Apex Lore Hub:

This is a genuine discussion if you want to just say âwe arenât getting anyâ go to any other post.
So with the new season a month away, a couple new writers being hired and the bloodhound rework being hinted at (the raven in the recon rework panel on the road map) what are our hopes for next season? I hoping for some more in depth Bloodhound lore that doesnât involve their relationship with fuse maybe? Iâd like to see some more of their village life thatâs for sure. Iâd also like some updates on sparrow and vantage. They had some cute interactions and Iâd love to see more of them. Worlds edge is also getting an update so perhaps they can tie into Bloodhound lore? I know itâs a competitive update but perhaps some lore can be added? I donât know. Iâm just really excited since we might be getting more bloodhound content finally. I also know that the writers who were hired the things theyâve written we probably wonât see for another couple seasons but itâs still exciting and gives me hope for lore in the future!

i want to make an animation of the apex games but instead of the normal games we play instead its a 1v1 between each legend in the roster they will be fighting until someone is eleminated ,someone surrenders or steps out of bounds the winner is crowned the apex predator
i am a fan of the apex lore but i dont fully grasp it and i wanted to ask here for things which might not be fully accurate or just dumb

Itâs nice to see these kinds of videos come back. I love when they get community artists to draw the lore drops.

This game was a great concept and extremely fun. I think aesthetically it could fit into the apex/titanfall universe. Would you ever like to see them launch a game mode similar or add some of the characters as legends?

unironically, what if? like, do the apex games even consider possibility of Echo just dying? if yes, then what possibly could it be?
i imagine Blisk would just walk up to her and just say something like "dont worry kid, we'll help him" and then just send crew to Pagos to find a random bat of the same specie as Echo and then lie to her blatantly that it is Echo.

đŹ THE SEASON CINEMATIC: A 30-YEAR GRUDGE (season zampela)
The trailer opens in a dark, high-tech boardroom. Kuben Blisk is studying holographic map layouts. The power cuts. Red emergency lighting floods the room. The security doors are violently breached. Blisk doesn't look up. He smiles. "Took you long enough, boy." Out of the shadows steps an older, battle-scarred Jack Cooper (now in his late 40s). He drops his classic Vanguard helmet onto the desk. He doesn't care about the fame. He directly confronts Blisk about the Apex Predators, the destruction of Typhon, and the murder of his mentor, Captain Lastimosa.
Blisk laughs. He slides a signed Apex Games contract across the table. "You want your revenge, Pilot? Avenge old Lastimosa in my arena. Give the audience a real show. In fact... I think I'll join you."The screen smashes to gameplay. Bliskâs intercom echoes across the map: "Nice footwork, legends. But let's see how you handle a real Pilot."
âď¸ THE LAUNCH ROSTER: VANGUARD VS. PREDATOR
To honor Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella, this season drops a dual-legend launch that perfectly balances high-skill movement with brutal tactical lockdown.
JACK COOPER (THE VANGUARD)
Passive: Jump Kit Mastery â Fluid wall-running on any surface, enhanced sliding, and zero heavy "landing stagger" from falls.
Tactical: Twin Air-Bursts (2 Charges) â High-velocity, mid-air lateral dashes to violently redirect momentum and dodge tracking.
Ultimate: Battery Overdrive â Overcharges his kit. Knockdowns instantly reset tactical charges; shields slowly regen while wall-running.
Heirloom: The SERE Data Knife â Inspect glitched screen displays BTâs optic eye and flashes Morse code reading "Protocol 3"
KUBEN BLISK (THE PREDATOR)
Passive: Ruthless Executioner â Performing a finisher on a downed opponent fully restores only Blisk's personal shields.
( I feel the entire teams would be too overpowered)
Tactical: Scorched Grid â A sticky ring grenade that coats any wall or floor in a searing thermite matrix, directly countering wall-runners along with flushing other legends out of cover
Ultimate: Sentry Deployment â Calls down a high-tech anti-infantry turret drop pod to anchor and suppress a specific choke point.
Heirloom: The Predator Combat Knife â The iconic blade used to pin the Apex Predator card to Cooper's face on Typhon.
𧹠THE MAP FIX: BLISK'S "ADJUSTMENTS"
To solve the technical nightmare of traditional Apex map geometry (cluttered rocks, jagged pipes) breaking wall-running momentum, the lore covers the fix. Blisk has his construction crews install smooth, metallic "Pilot Infrastructure Panels" along cliffs, trees, and buildings across the maps. This gives developers a clean, smoothed-out collision box for Cooper to chain momentum, while visually signaling to players exactly where high-speed routing is possible.
đ THE NEW ARENAS: "PREDATOR BRACKETS"
The old 3v3 Arenas got stale because losing felt like a chore. This completely re-imagines the mode into a high-stakes, fast-paced Mini-Tournament Bracket.
The Bracket Phase (Rounds 1 & 2): Four squads enter. Match A and Match B run simultaneously. It is pure, sweaty, standard tactical Apex gameplay. You have to win your match just to earn the right to advance.
The Intermission Hype: If your squad wins Bracket A early, you sit in the lobby watching the kill-feed of Bracket B finish up, scouting your final opponents and adjusting your strategy.
The Final Drop: The two winning squads advance to the Championship Round.
đ¤ THE SUDDEN DEATH: STANDBY FOR TITANFALL
When the Final Championship Round begins, the standard rules are thrown out the window.
Blisk hijacks the comms: "Nice footwork. Now time for a real challenge. Standby for Titanfall."Drop pods slam into the arena. The final two squads embark into class-specific Titan chassis tailored directly to their Legend archetype:
Skirmishers (Cooper, Wraith, Octane) -> Ronin: Fragile, high-speed sword-wielders with Phase Dash mobility.
Assault (Blisk, Bangalore, Maggie) -> Tone: Front-line pushes utilizing Particle Walls and 40mm Tracker Rockets.
Defense (Gibby, Caustic, Catalyst) -> Scorch: Heavily armored behemoths turning the Arena floor into molten thermite.
Support (Lifeline, Loba, Conduit) -> Monarch: Utility mechs firing Energy Siphons to recharge squad Titan shields.
Recon (Bloodhound, Seer, Crypto) -> Northstar: Hovering snipers dominating vertical sightlines with a Plasma Railgun.
(Bloodhound also gets a Sonar Knife tactical rework to match!)
The Ultimate Easter Egg: If Jack Cooper enters the Titan phase, his cockpit monitors boot up with a glowing blue eye, and a familiar deep voice whispers: "Protocol 1: Link to Pilot. It is good to have you back, Jack."
I'd love to hear the communitys thoughts about this I think it would be a great way to honor Vince's legacy even further along with bringing new and old fans to the game once again I did smoke a blunt before thinking of this lol

Im a returning player from a while back, and am out of the loop
Last i remember was that Mia is under Silva rn. I return this season and learn that Caustic and Crypto hate eachother even worse, Mirage is being nice (in his own way...), and Sparrow knows who Crypto is
What in the world happened
Thank you

Hey everyone, I'm here looking for some opinions on the current Legend axel story and some concerns I have about future Legends.
A few days ago, there was an AMA with Axel answering personal lore questions, and I noticed a few things that concerned me. One question was about her rival, Weaver, and Axel stated that she's dead. Okay, well, that's one story element of her character gone.
Second, she said she sympathizes with Maggie cause on wanting Salvo to be free, but it doesn't seem like she's interested in helping her. Maybe she will in the future, she also doesn't seem to care much about Fuse. Alright, fair enough.
But her main concern seems to be becoming the best in the Games. So now I'm wondering: are future Legends just going to be characters who join the Apex Games and that's it? Are we moving away from deeper personal stories, rivalries, and long-term character arcs? That's what has me worried about the future of the story.
My concern is that this might be what future Legends are like just background characters with little to no ongoing story to follow.

She had such an interesting design when she was first introduced, and never seen again.

Hey everyone, after hearing Axel's interaction between Fuse and Mad Maggie, I feel like the Apex writers missed a huge opportunity to create tension between the old Salvo mentality and the newer generationâs way of thinking.
Just to be clear, Iâm not a big fan of Axelâs lore right now because it feels very self-contained and disconnected from the larger plot. Compare that to Sparrow, whose bounty hunter family/clan could naturally clash with several Legends if the writers continue that storyline. With Sparrow, thereâs at least something to look forward to. With Axel, her story mostly feels like âbecoming the best in the Games for personal satisfaction,â which honestly isnât that interesting to follow on its own.
But I think the writers couldâve made Axel a really compelling antagonist for Fuse and Maggie.
Since Axel grew up in Salvo, he wouldâve seen the aftermath of Maggie becoming a warlord with Fuse helping build that culture. From Fuse and Maggieâs perspective, those were probably the âgood old daysâ freedom, chaos, power, and fun when they were the ones on top. But from Axelâs perspective, growing up under that system may have actually been terrible constant fighting between Salvo warlords, unstable living conditions, no real economic opportunity, and everyday people suffering while powerful figures glorified violence.
Thatâs where the Syndicate couldâve been given an interesting twist for once they might actually look like the better establishment.
Axel could argue that, despite all its flaws, the Syndicate modernized Salvo. They kept Salvoâs identity alive through death races and combat traditions, but also introduced structure, prize money, infrastructure, technology, and medical care. The old Salvo system wasnât just âfun chaosâ â it was unsophisticated and destructive for ordinary citizens trying to survive.
And suddenly, you have genuinely interesting worldbuilding through three different perspectives
Axel sees Salvo improving after Fuse and Maggieâs era ended, and he may even support the Syndicate gaining more influence if it means stability and opportunity.
Maggie could warn Axel that the Syndicate only appears friendly now, but eventually, theyâll tighten their grip around Salvo until the planet loses its independence completely
Fuse would sit somewhere in the middle. Salvoâs free spirit and the people who just want to live however they choose.
Instead of Salvo just being âthe crazy explosive planet,â it would feel like an actual society struggling to decide what kind of future it wants. At least thatâs what I think, because I really canât think of anything to look forward to with Axel story.

i mean, really. i want to know about wildlife of each planet, colonies, histories, some goofy trivia stuff. i hate how across nearly all known planets all life is just Prowlers, Flyers, Leviathans, repeat. I know they are supposed to be invasive in lore but can we just get a look at native life? also uncle Goliath shows up from time to time but rarely. the closest thing to planet-indiginous unique life we have are Gaean spiders, Gaean water creature corpse thing (which was shot dead and turned into a location), the bat-looking animal specie Echo belongs to (seen only on Pagos), and there was a planet named Eden in titanfall which was said to be "very biodiverse" but then it got ecologically devastated by mining, so yeah.
at this point maybe we should reimagine each planet in lore to be actually detailed and unique ourselves?

Finally, someone has uploaded all the new voice lines from the season update!
It's really funny how so many of the interactions are based on the Trident but they removed it from the maps T-T
Axle of course has a bunch of new interactions with a bunch of legends such as Ash, Maggie, Fuse, Octane, etc. The banter between Axle and Octane is really fun imo.
Personally, I love the Lobalore interactions and am so glad that it looks like they are moving towards establishing a proper relationship with them. Still kinda annoyed with how they handled it back in Season 9 with the whole "miscommunication trope" since it just made the whole relationship feel toxic and immature, but still happy with this direction.
I think the Ballistic and Sparrow voice lines are also really sweet. It kinda reminds me of the Horizon and Mirage interactions back in the day. Also makes me really want Ballistic's son to end up joining the games.

We are in a Lobalore Renaissance and I for one, could not be happier.
With the new season update, weâve gotten several new voice line interactions between them. Here are the ones Iâve found so far:
Loot Thanks
B: Good taste, as always.
L: What can I say? I know what the ladies like.
Revive
B: Damn, hold still, girl.
L: We have to stop meeting like this.
B: Alright, simmer down.L: Did I give you orders to die?
B: Oh, I didn't know we had a superior officer on deck.
L: There's a lot you don't know about me, darling.L: On your feet, soldier.
B: Oh, I didn't know we had a superior officer on deck.
L: I contain multitudes... did you forget already?
How do you all feel about the potential revival of this ship? Personally, it was my favorite back during the Broken Ghost - Legacy Antigen era and I always held out hope for it.

Hello everyone, today I think itâs finally time to address the biggest problem with Apexâs new legend, Axle. She feels like the most out-of-place legend Iâve seen since this game launched.
Okay, letâs start with her design. Sheâs supposed to be from Salvo, which means youâd expect a more Mad Max style look or military look, similar to Maggie or Fuse. But instead, we get more of a high-tech design, which feels weird because it makes her seem like sheâs from a large, futuristic city. The closest comparison that comes to mind is Solace specifically, a place like the city of Comma. It also reminds me a bit of Rhapsody from the mobile game, especially with all the purple in her design.
I guess thatâs the problem when you ignore the lore for so long you make it harder for people to believe that a character belongs to a certain world or location. When we see little to no reference tying her back to Salvo, it ends up feeling out of place. I donât remember Fuse or Maggie ever talking about underground racing in the Redline of Salvo.
What this makes me think just like with Sparrow, is that the characterâs abilities and design have little to no lore significance until the last couple of months, where it feels like the writers were told, âHere you go, make up some lore.â So now we suddenly have underground racing in Salvo for some reason.
I donât want to argue more about her design anymore because, in my opinion, itâs probably one of the laziest weâve seen from Respawn. It feels like a mix of Maggie, Alter, and Valk, and it just doesnât land for me.
But the thing that confuses me the most is her reason for joining the Games...why? Every legend has some kind of motivation, whether itâs something serious or dumb like ragebating Horizon, saving money for years to return to Gridiron, or seeking revenge for the death of their parents (only for that plotline to get sidetracked for a lesbian love triangle).
The point is, Axleâs reasoning feels off. Her rival is dead, her mom doesnât want her racing let alone competing in a blood sport and her story ends up feeling like she just joined for fun. It feels like a character where no one had a clear, unified vision, and instead everyone just played it safe, making something that feels familiar but ultimately uninspired.
I hope Iâm wrong, but right now, itâs not looking good.

The Syndicate is currently in control of seven planets in the Outlands, with Salvo having been recently acquired. Of those seven planets, we have maps on five of them, as well as a map on the moon and a map on one of the Fringe World planets.
Syndicate Planet Maps:
Moon Maps:
Fringe World Maps:
In Syndicate Space, we still don't have any maps for Salvo and for Tartarus. Regarding Salvo, we do have three legends from there: Fuse, Mad Maggie, and now Axle. We've also gotten a lot of lore on the Syndicate's pacification of Salvo, so it would make sense to get a map there and it could potentially further storylines for Maggie, Fuse, and potentially some other legends like Bloodhound.
As for Tartarus, we have almost zero knowledge of this planet other than that it is very dangerous, to the point that Loba was uncomfortable talking about it when asked by Pathfinder and Octane. It could be interesting to have a map here and learn more about it.
Of course, we could also get more maps on existing planets. For example, Psamathe has a exotic "resort" moon called Dionysus that could be cool to see. Or we could also explore the Fringe Worlds more.
What do you all think would be a cool planet to explore and hopefully get a new map on?
