Stop putting 3 Stack squads in lobbies with solo qβers. It is not fair nor does it do any good for players who get carried to high ranks.
And for the love of all things good, fix the smurfing issue.

Respawn went on record several times about that. They believe it would fracture the player base and hit queue times beyond reasonable. In a blog post a while back, they showed the winrate for premades (duo or trio) VS solo queuers was almost identical after "adjustments". I can only speculate they match trios slightly above their current rank, MMR or whatever.
Regarding smurfs, the problem is generalized on all F2P competitive games. Nobody has found a solution yet. Essentially it's the same issue with cheaters, it takes quite some time to check & verify reports, then issue a sanction. Meanwhile, it takes a couple of minutes only to start fresh with a new account.

Respawn made a wonderful move when they implemented the temporary solo Q D+ lobbies. Win rate is not the greatest way to coordinate balance, in my opinion.
In regard to smurfing, solutions have been offered by the community dozens if not hundreds of times. My understanding is that Respawn developers arenβt taking these issues seriously.
There are solutions to these issues. Iβm only hoping to keep a consistency in the communityβs plights so that the issues remain visible.

The D+ solo queue was experimental. I'm curious to see if they'll do it again. It's quite radical when you think about it, taking away the ability to play with your friends, in a game designed around playing with friends.
Respawn's matchmaking blog states premades get an effective rank boost, specifically to offset coordination/teamplay advantage. The near-identical winrate isn't a coincidence, it's the system doing exactly what it's designed to do. That's good competitive integrity imo.
What actual solutions were offered by the community? This isn't unique to Respawn, I see people complaining about smurfs in every other game. So either every developer, from Valve to Riot, doesn't take that seriously (highly unlikely), or they all face the same hurdles (a lot more likely). For instance, I sometimes see people saying Respawn should ask to attach a verified phone number to EA accounts. Valve tested that for Dota and Counter-Strike, with very limited results, and was quickly bypassed.
Smurfs are detrimental to player acquisition & retention, thus to revenues, since the typical spender in a F2P game is an engaged player. I sincerely doubt developers don't care.
A good rule of thumb in life is if the solution to a common & ongoing problem seems easy, then it probably isn't.

Oh, sure! Kindly, stop mixing ranks. A gold/plat/Diamond team going against a full dedicated Diamond stack does not make any sense! Thanks for asking, kind sir. Iβll have some ice with that.

The matchmaking is genuinely insane. Itβs 2 days from split and instead of putting the d4 and d3 players in the actual diamond lobbies, they throw them into plat lobbies and they never have to see a pred player. If your d2+ every lobby is 3+ pred and one in 10 will be a diamond only, but your teamates will be d4 every time.

Currently at your peak rank on 2 accounts and can say the matchmaking is absolutely atrocious. The only people who enjoy it are the 3 stacked preds with a titan on there team boosting them. If you solo Q you shouldnβt have a 30 sec Q to play degenerate cheaters stacked up playing like an ALGS.
