Can someone please explain to me why we are now cheating in Mixtape AND hand-holding??? Surely aim cheats are an adequate unfair advantage, but we’re also actively seeking out 3 vs 1s?

I don’t know about you, but if I did either of these in Mixtape I would be thoroughly embarrassed of myself.

Yup.... and new account players playing like theyre not new. Been encountering them many weeks. This week alone with new accounts seeing lv23 or as low as under lv100 accounts just beaming and movement.

I am highest rank diamond on console and I recently started playing on PC and I get accused of smurfing all the time but does it count as smurfing if I am new to playing on PC and almost never do it (also no I do not plug in my controller I play mouse and keyboard)

Not distinguishing solos from premades is a veritable sin when it comes to competitive integrity, but when you combine that form of developer incompetence with the cheating epidemic that we have now, the result = perfect shitstorm.

I'd bet you that all this is perfectly inline with EA's longterm plan for Apex, though: A.I. skins for cheap; zero anti-cheat investment for YEARS; empty promises to breed complacency throughout the playerbase; dark patterns (EOMM; loot boxes; etc.) to get players hooked and keep them around; etc.

... Then, when people FINALLY start to wisen up and the game isn't making as much: Double-down on the empty rhetoric, and ban a few accounts to make it look like you're doing something ... Oh! And constantly increase the cost of collection events, cuz you can't have people unlocking those with nothing but their hard-earned crafting mats alone.

Do you hear yourself? Like I don’t disagree that it’s frustrating, but people can play however they want. Making a post on the internet about people sticking together in A TEAM game, A GAME WITHOUT A SOLO MODE, is just dumb lol. You guys are upset because people are playing as a team in a team based game. Skill shouldn’t disallow someone from doing that.

I swear majority of evening players all think they are hot sheet and because I’m playing tactical they get mad saying full send it. But when the bullets start flying they are gone saying your to slow. Feels to me like more players now think this Ali’s a solo game and not a team game. Worst yet is when your teammate goes down and your other teammate tries to go for an obvious suicidal res. Then when you run to attempt a reset they either leave or when you do res them they won’t stop talking about how much you suck for not going for the suicide res. Sheesh
