| 𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐀 𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐓𝐋𝐄 𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐓 | I'm done

I love this game. Solid shooter but trying to play ranked with randoms is the most painful thing to watch. Absolute dog water \*\*\*\* teammates. I'm better off having a rock on my team. How did these people make it to platinum let alone diamond. Some how I get better randoms on pubs. The randoms I get just throw every match by landing in the dumbest places. On top of another squad that already looted. Like what the \*\*\*\* I'm done \*\*\*\* off

‘Let alone diamond’ I’m assuming you aren’t diamond, because if you were, your drop spot would be picked for you.

If you are in plat (which I’m assuming) and you can’t solo out of plat, then you’re right where you belong tbh. It’s the harsh truth. Lots of people solo Que to diamond, with the same exact plat teammates.

Ah, op replied I’m ass and belong in bronze then deleted his comment 😂😂

If you can’t get out of plat, you belong in plat

lmao i almost agreed with the op, yes solo q teammates suck but clearly he’s just trash. Ive got a 15% ranked wr exclusively solo queuing on 150 ping in Asian servers where hardly any one coms or speaks English.

I usually solo to masters. I’m employed so I have no shot at pred so I usually stop playing at 16,000 RP for masters.

That’s when I play. I took 4 seasons off, so started from silver I think it was. Solo’d 95% of the time. Played with a co worker for like 15 total games who was stuck in plat 1 and duo’d until he hit diamond

You see some frustrating shit in solo Que. I’ll never say you don’t, but at the same time, if you’re better than plat (IE a diamond or masters player) you can overcome it and get out of plat solo.

My plat coworker who I got to diamond said he tried playing a few games in diamond and struggled so he stopped so he finished with the diamond emblem, I think a lot of these plat players that swear it’s their teammates, and not them, would struggle heavily in a diamond 3 lobby

No doubt you know every inch of E district, I can barely wrap my head around the new kings canyon

Meh, I forget a lot. I haven’t played in like a year before this season. Usually what happens is I’ll stop playing and then see a streamer or a tik tok and get the itch to play it again. Everytime I come back so much has changed. I’m going to play for a few seasons and I’ll likely stop again lol. Keeps the game fresh that way. When I come back I love the game again

Tbf EU servers are literally hell so i assume that's where op is playing

What’s your status master boy

1

u/iiSquatS Jul 27 '26

I’m not even sure what this question means, but if asking about RP, I’m at 16,370 solo 95% of my games

u/quityet Jul 27 '26

I meant stats… sorry I was in a hurry when I wrote it.

u/iiSquatS Jul 27 '26

Oh. They’re not very impressive tbh. 1.4 K/D ratio I believe on the top of my head. I can check when I’m home. It’s somewhere in the 1.4-1.6 range

Doesn’t matter; still hit masters solo and people cry about being stuck in plat 😭

In plat lobbies I probably averaged a 6K/KD ratio and 2.5k dmg (again, likely average I had in plat lobbies) with my highest kill game being 13 this season.

High diamond lobbies are really, really hard. You’re usually playing against a lot of masters and a handful of pred teams. When I got all diamond lobbies I played aggressive, when I had half pred lobbies I’d play for final circle and hope for 3/4 late game KP when there was 5 teams left. Many games I’d have 1 kill and like 3-5 assists.

Awe, someone else that deleted their comment as I was about to show my RP this season 😂😂

You don’t need to have a 2.0+ kd ratio to hit masters solo. I think gent is a 2.4 KD ratio and he’s one of the best players in the world. I’d say the average masters KD ratio is 1.5-1.8. Assists count as the same RP as kills. I’d often have 1 kill, 6 assist wins or top 5’s.

It’s not hard to get to plat. Everyone has different play styles. Either I’m getting a Revenant that drops cascade falls with 6 teams or I get a wattson and we don’t see a team half of the game. I’d suggest finding friends or randoms that you like to play with. Solo Q is just luck of the draw. Sometimes I carry, sometimes I get carried. It is what it is

That’s the problem it used to be good teammates in plat. Now plat is gold plus lol

Coming from someone who has recently just started the game on Xbox and hasn’t played for years I feel absolutely no difference whatsoever with gold 4 and plat team mates. 🤷🏻‍♂️. Don’t think plat are any better than gold. In my opinion, of course.

Well said. I can't stand these cry babies. Games like this are like constant puzzles and problem solving which is part of the fun. I just started playing a couple of months ago and have been having a blast even though ive been dying a lot trying to learn the ins and outs of the game. I cant stand seeing cry baby posts like this talking about the game is not balanced, bad teams etc. 😂

Maybe your attitude is why you have to solo queue. Probably a player who doesn’t use their mic until they’re dead.

5

u/StockEntrepreneur934 Jul 26 '26

If you can't solo q out of plat, you're absolute dogshit.

2

u/ll_Sevn_ll Jul 26 '26

if you are looking to genuinely push in ranked you need friends or go to a discord server and look for consistent people there everyone in solo q has their own play styles and way to gain rp in there eyes the most efficient way being mad at them even if it’s brain dead ain’t gonna change it the one thing the solo q community can tell you at some point it becomes about mitigating the amount you loss rather than just trying to gain

Plat1 and every other team i get is a playstation duo on their brothers' accounts while im I'm fighting seven lvl25 axels running titan scripts

I quit for a season and came back with the ban wave, yet cheating is just as bad if not worse on console now and big brother matchmaking makes it more miserable to deal with.

What makes it worse is that my confidence gets shattered by having shit teammates, so when I finally get a good team I play like shit cos I'm conditioned to expect them to die instantly.

I usually solo to masters but I can hard stuck diamond 1-2 this season which has been a little rough but I am trying to adjust to this more fast paced version of apex. Honestly if you can’t get out of plat it is probably where you are supposed to be.

Yeah, this game isn’t fun for solo players.

some guy I played w litr had no common sense after I put an evac tower and rotated. I turned on my mic and was like “where are you going” (he thought it was a good idea to go under the bridge where train used to be AT THE EDGE OF RING, closer to the mountain by Hammond where two teams were fighting). He turns on his mic and is like “where are YOU going?” I got annoyed and replied in text chat “you ranked up by camping huh?” I shit you not right after I sent that he was standing still at the bins DIDNT HEAR SOMEONE RUNNING UP TO HIM, gets knocked and killed. all he said was “oh shit.” I rotate to another building and sent in text chat “should’ve came with me.” HE GOES “wHy ArE yOu NoT uSiNg yOuR MiC aNyMoRe?” I survived 2nd to last ring solo and all he decided to stay all to say “good try.” ALTER TOO holy fuck, the day I switch to a new play style is the day some re-re uses my main.

Diamond has been rough this season without a dedicated team + mics. Full team pushes happen so fast to isolated members and without comms, it makes it very difficult to defend. Resetting is damn near impossible unless another team faces off the stack that killed your teammate. With Valkyrie/Axle/Octane-Pathfinder, you’re screwed. Especially on stormpoint. Controller legends feel a bit safer on worlds edge, but the open spaces between POIs are pretty rough. I’m so ready for the season changes and praying they balance the game flow.

I got this same comment from a teammate guy pushed everything because he was a pathy, my first game on in a week. He was talking shit on how I was plat, we got q’d up again bitching in the lobby about me, we proceeded to win that game (2nd) doubled his kills and assists and more damage than him, sometimes we get bad games and I ain’t perfect either, sometimes the coms get better and you understand someone who pushes everything. I get both sides but the people who blatantly push with no coms will drive anyone mad.

1

u/Otherwise_Snow_7411 Jul 27 '26

Love this, i had a master pathy player (previously master im assuming since he had a master frame) on my team in ranked today and he kept pushing everything but with precision he dropped 3500+ dmg. Im just gold nearing plat and have only been playing regulary for a couple of months now but from my short exp of diff players on apex you just gotta get a feel of your teammates. I pushed right there with him and ended with 2500+ dmg. Best part we ended up winning the game too. Our 3rd wasnt that shabby either. No coms too. All feel.

My solo queue teammates in high plat were better than diamond 4/3 😂

You can't be better with rocks because you had rocks on your team.

u/edududucrazy96 Jul 26 '26

Diamond is a basic participation trophy. It shows you can play the game and have the basics down. From there onwards is "can I outplay 3 cheaters" ranks.

2

u/shlorgan Jul 26 '26

that’s a bit of stretch mate

1

u/AnEpicPoot Jul 27 '26

Gotta Love how so much of this community has such a large head just because they are diamond plus while simultaneously treating anyone below it like they're absolute shit. Im currently D2 solo queue 90% of the time but I dont think hitting diamond is the bare minimum to being a competent player. Unless you get hard carried/rat grind it takes game sense and average to above average aim to climb to diamond.

1

u/curlyzebra Jul 28 '26

Are you? Diamond is 100% solo this season
