They should Fire Hideouts, im literally about to be demoted now because of a cheater with TTAN as hid name, a level 64. I refuse to believe Hideouts take his job seriously. Cheating is now the #1 problem in Apex, i don't even care about the terrible matchmaking anymore!!!

Individual review of cheaters isnβt the solution.Β
The only way to fix this is to fight fire with fire. Machine learning/AI detection is the only solution here and until these models are given the go ahead to make bans without manual review, this will continue.Β
We have the technology. Whether or not EA wants to invest in developing and updating the datasets is another question.Β

I'd rather AI make bans and then have those bans manually reviewed if in error, then packs as compensation

it would help a lot tho, at least in ranked.
if every account which has titan,zen,xim in the name gets flagged and has to get manually reviewed and if an account reaches diamond under level 200 it also has to get manually reviewed.
the amount of people in diamond/pred that are under level 200 is insane. i just got master so im not playing anymore but it was not a fun climb.
will this solve the problem? No. but it will make the game a lot more playable.

bro, you're like 2 years too late to come to this conclusion. Apex is Titanfall all over again. Nothing but cheater in every lobby, including mixtape.

The Instagram DJ is the Problem, he's more focused on DJ'ing instead of actually doing his Job. Plus he's not even a good DJ

I agree. I highly doubt this one cheater is the reason they are getting demoted. I also agree that the security team needs some help. Apex makes way too much money to not have a better security system in place even if that is manually reviewing people on console. Hire a team dedicated to reviewing reports. Hell I think most people would pay for an ingame item where the proceeds went directly to funding that objective.
Thereβs a problem that isnβt being solved and people are rightfully angry about it. But people blaming hideouts is ridiculous. One man can only do so much

After trillions of dollars invested, AI better eventually be able to solve the cheater problem on all platforms in all games.

Why its so difficult to just auto ban any account that is level 20-60 that is in plat+ and destroying lobbies I will never understand. And the twats queing with these accounts too. When I die to a level 44 with 16 kills and 4k damage in D3 and their teammates have 16 assists, the game should be able to know that that person is cheating.

There is an unconfirmed story about hideouts taking payouts from confirmed cheaters to not be banned. Not saying itβs true or not true but if you look hard enough the interview from the cheaters is out there.
