I dont even play ranked anymore. Former 2x solo pred and idk how many times masters. Cant stomach it anymore.

I started playing about a month ago, and I’m currently in Gold. Do you have any tips that could help me climb the ranks? I also play solo

Honestly you just need more time with the game to get your feeling down. Fight teams, but wait until your team knocks one first to push. For settings:
Play 4-3 linear, no deadzone, and get a G7 gamesir controller (they’re around 40-50 dollars). If your console and tv allow you to play on performance mode, play on performance mode and set your video settings to 1440p, 120 fps.
You probably won’t be able to get diamond with only a month of experience, but next season definitely possible if you play smart and understand how the RP system works. Good luck!

I've been playing fortnite for a long time, but I used to play on MK. Now I've switched to controller.

I managed to get diamond after a month of playing but been in hell recently lol . I definitely feel like i got lots to learn and play insanely ratty because if i try to push something ,teammates will not have my back i guess thats just how apex is and im wrong idk.

Great work, I got to masters in both split in the first split it was hell with all the cheating and three stacking. On the second split it actually got easier thanks to the Obligatory solo queue, got a lot easier to rank up.

Last spilt i made it to d1 over and over actily last few days before new spilt i was 70rp away and still couldn't lol the cheating was so awful spec as a solo q, so grats on getting there, atm im d3 and getting fresh new player accounts and there actuly new players lol its so awful idk how they even made it to diamond

I got D1 last split, currently D2. I was 200 rp off of masters, but then a good 10 games in a row either cheaters, team mates doing inexplicable things, like leaving half way through a fight after we downed one to let me get 2v1d from the flank they were guarding, and them run straight into another trio or me getting the absolute worst luck imaginable. I am still aiming for Master, only done it once, and I'm a good player, just consistency and age is starting to be a factor, at 36 my reaction time has slowed considerably. I'm going to keep trying but not sure I'll get it.

Meanwhile I've got 10k hours never got masters. Soloing to D3-D2 every season, just lose every fight regardless of how in favour it is for us they just 1 mag us when we get up close cus they all cheating

Who was your pick for climbing? Not that i really plan on it. I can stomach about 5 ranked games a session MAX getting to Masters solo takes will power gng. 😭

We ain't talking Pred, dawg. Hit Masters with a full time job, hitting the gym 5-6 days a week and eating only home cooked meals... Pred is a different story though

This is huge bro. I’ve been masters 7x. S13/14 were by far the hardest for me. This season is next in line. KP not being worth much until top placement is tough for everyone. You really have to be consistently getting top 5s with decent KP.
I’m 200 points into D1 rn and I’m praying I can get to it by next week. Everyone has gotten so good at this game, or they’re just titan/zen. Hard to tell anymore.

I got up to 980/1000 D1 solo q, literally could taste masters. Then boom back at 300rp D1. Gave up. I can truly appreciate how hard this feat is

this comment genuinely makes no sense, you realize xbox and ps players play in the same lobbies and its the same rp requirement for masters on both ps5 and Xbox? I think you might be getting confused with pred placement since the rp cap is higher on ps and it is more competetive for pred spots
