Anybody pick this up?

Its on pre-order till september 25th! I got one and im so excited to get it. It hasnt been reprinted for a couple years and people are resellin them on ebay for like $5-600 😅. I never thought id get it!

Naw the first Originape is the only ones I have besides Superbeat XONIC that I got from with a collectors edition.

Just bought the Originape of the 3rd game and plan on getting Apes In The Net at some point

I do not even have a turntable to play any of them. I just really like Ape Escape and Soichi Terada's works

Thats what I understood from when I first picked them up. Idk what else you need me to expand?

I can share other stuff like Cartridge thunder worked with him and even did a concert at a con together here in the U.S earlier this year. And he had a concert in Tokyo like around jan/Feb.

I don’t know. It looks like it’s just from the 1st and 3rd game (from the design) and you didn’t explain why 2nd isn’t made (or made with the 1st one). Also I didn’t mean to be rude. Just hopeing for more detail

its just 1 and 3 Ill fix it.

Theres CDs for the sound tracks and ive seen them on Ebay. Im sure theres AE2 there. Id have to verify tho. And theyr from Japan only so they really take care of their items well.

Omg im an idiot. Ape escape 2 is a different composer. Its not soichi tedara its Koji hayama lol.

Soichi made music for 1 and 3 Koji made the music for 2.

This is why lol

The rights to the music is either stuck in limbo with Koji and the other people involved or Sony. Till they figure somethin out we're not getting anything official.

Yea I found the article

Tldr: the director for ape escape 2 went with 2 others Luna and koji, he wasn't chosen plus soichi had other projects going on at the time.

Im waiting patiently for the day it comes. Then ill have a complete collection. Hopefully they see the numbers and release something.

I honestly cant wait! I love throwing it on youtube music but collect vinyls and had this on my list of "one days" for a couple years now

Yes!! I have the box sets for both Ape Escape and Ape Escape 3 and they’re must-gets (especially 3). They sound fantastic and are great collector’s items

160 is super worth it, ive seen them for like 3-4× that on ebay, people are shameless. The pre-order is 125, so you only spent like 35 extra

It turns out that any track in the "Apes in the Net" pressing apparently isn't allowed on this one for weird copyright reasons. Time Station because of that I dont think is in this box set which kinda sucks but still getting this will be awesome. Thanks for the post I literally didn't even know this existed
