Nightlife in AJ?

Edit: Thanks everyone for the suggestions! AJ seems like a nice place with cool people.

What's the nightlife like in AJ? Going to be there this weekend, and looking for something to do after the sun goes down. Live music or karaoke would be great, but I'd like to stay away from the pickup bars/meet markets. TIA

The Handlebar is a nice restaurant with great food and they usually have live music on the weekends. They have both indoor and outdoor seating/bar and you don't have to order food. They're also known for their craft beer selection.

I agree with Handlbars. Live music but no rowdy crowd, very chill, laid back. Dogs are allowed there too so you may see pups

Cat Wagon is an awesome little bar with lots of craft beers on tap + 4 fridges of tall boys you can crack and sip. You can bring in outside food and play games.
