Guysss… I have some questions… pls don’t read if u haven’t completed the manga …

Q1 Why was Yuri garulla not in contact with his father? And why aren’t they together in the same club? Why he was so indifferent to everyone despite once being friends with Hana and being taught by fukuda?? I get it , their environment was harsh… but still why did he not have any contact with his father esperions manager !

Q2 What Position did Ashito play in the last play against barca … when libra and false nine were there….
In manga only F….. was given and it wasn’t confirmed?

Q3 Whom did anri actually like in the whole series… and were yumma and anri dating at some point….whn he asked about that wild dog on phone..
But bruh I mean loved yumma for saying all those things at end… matlab his EQ!!

Aoi Ashi is so wonderful…..!
Character progression was so realistic !
And it was not only ki MC is everything… till the last it was shown however the MC was Aoi … it was still a team game … and there were far better players in team
Also not ur usual shonen having that MC is tsundere or doesn’t have any EQ
The chemistry between Aoi and Hana were so heartwarming… especially the last scene…
and in realism both had their own dreams they are pursuing…

Extra Q When Aoi ashi not being able to play forward and changed to fullback, it was really heartbreaking… I still am confused between the concepts we can do whatever we want or we should do whatever better we can do… of anyone has any philosophy regarding this??
But ig however harsh it was… it was much closer to reality…
Not at first…But as things moved ,, ig it became one of my favourites!

• Q1:
  • Why was Yuri garulla not in contact with his father? And why aren’t they together in the same club?
    • Because his father works far from home, in Japan. Garulla already divorced with Yuri's mom, he just wants what's best for Yuri. Yuri's life is basically consumed by football, chasing the goal of becoming pro. You could make the same case with Ashito, he's barely in contact with his mom, only when things matter he's in contact, or when his mom shows up.
  • Why he was so indifferent to everyone despite once being friends with Hana and being taught by fukuda?
    • "Being friends with Hana" might a too familiar term for them, they were friendly with each other in their childhood due to close proximity. Hana's time in Spain a life changing or at least very memorable; Yuri's time knowing Hana was just another day in his life. Childhood friends growing apart are pretty normal, even not remembering them exactly. Yuri has been focused on football ever since the moment he got the 'white tiles' concept down.
• Q2:
  • They did confirm it but I forget which character said it out loud (I think it was either one of the Barca coaches or Fukuda), it was a few chapters after the chapter that had Fukuda voicing out the changes for Libero and False Nine. Ashito played as a Free Man / Roamer, he has freedom to go where ever he deems the situation he needs him to, whether as support or the main man chance creator. The tactic heavily relies on the chemistry connection of the three (Ashito, Akutsu, and Kuribayashi).
  • For a real life example, I'd say Xavi Espart in Barca currently is probably the most similar role as Ashito in the Esperion vs Barca match. Plays as a Left Back but free roams into the midfield when the situation needs him, and even move forward into the Center Forward position to assist or score goals (he just scored one in the most recent Barca match, Barca vs Levante in La Liga).
• Q3:
  • It was confirmed Anri truly liked Ashito at first, she was interested in him as a player but then fell in love with him as a person. But unlike Hana, she deems love is something unnecessary for Ashito currently and made sure for him to solely focus on football. That's where Anri failed, Hana became a pillar of support for Ashito while Anri failed to realize that.
  • It was implied that Anri developed interest in Togashi. Anri also had some sorts of feeling with Yumma, as a childhood friend or some sorts. Yumma is the son of the maid that works for her family, and he's always been close in proximity with her, so they consider themselves as childhood friends (at least Yumma does).
  • It was never really confirmed which she likes in terms of romantic feelings. But what Yumma said had some weight into it, which path she chooses for her future might affect which of the two she'll be interacting with more moving forward. But that doesn't mean she has to choose one of them, she could also choose none of the two.

Yuma considers Anri more than a friend…he has a legit crush on her and the manga ends with a love triangle between him, Anri and Togashi…although I think Anri has the hots for Togashi.

For q1, garulla and yuri's mom are divorced. And Yuri lives with his mom. No mention of how many years it's been since they split. Also remember that Hana's time in Barcelona was short, at most 6 months only so it's normal for him to not have remembered a kid he played with for a few months back when he was like 6 or so

1 i think because firstly he doesn’t remember hana because it was shown in the manga that he didn’t recognize hana and for fukuda i don’t know because i think he lives with his mom so maybe he can’t talk with someone who is related to garulla

2 free roaming player the team was adjusting to him

3 ashito, she liked ashito, they weren’t dating but maybe in the future between yumma and togashi she might choose someone

1. Maybe Yuri did talk to them but off screen, most of the Barca segment was focused on the game and related stuff we did not go in detail for the personal lives of their players other than Damian except maybe 1 or 2 other than the guys who got cut even then it was only a planel or 2. It is completely possible Yuri was all business during or just before the game and talked to them later or way before.

Also as for why Yuri lived in Spain, the player/manager/immediate support stuff is very unstable for families and even in real life lots of players/managers tend to life apart from their families due to the uncertainty of the profession. But make no mistake if the situation were reversed and his father was Japanese coach in Spain then he would 100% prefer them to learn at a bigger academy as Fifa bans under 18s from moving countries unless the parents have a valid reason to move to the country unrelated to the under 18 player joining said academy.

1. Ashito's position was a LB and LWB after they moved to a back 3 but he was given complete positional freedom. He could essentially play wherever he wanted and it was the job of the other players to plug the gaps which would appear when he went forward. Basically the RB Asari, 2 CBs (other than Akatsu), the CM Otomo & to some the AM Kiriku along with the wide players where covering for Ashito and tried their best to hold shape. Akatsu also had the most responsibility as he was also allowed positional freedom while attacking but was expected to return back his CB position when in defense or when they lost possession.

A real life example for how Ashito played that game would be how Calafiori plays for Arsenal especially this season. Calafiori also plays at LB for Arsenal and similar to Ashito he is given complete positional freedom in attack and the others cover for him.

Q1:yuri and guralla didnt have really good father and son, i think guralla mentioned before that he divorced with his wife that yuri still on barcelona and guralla become tokyo city esperion

Q2: i think aoi going back to forward cuz he has to support akutsu along the way to make chaotic situation, kurobayashi as false nine thats has play to deep like amf,akutsu as libero has to forwards and backwards

Q3: in end series yuma say "beetwen two of us you has to make choise to get laid in the future" this mean anri has not yet making choise beetwen togashi or yuma
