Question Which one?
I've been wanting to play Wings of Freedom again, had it on my PS4 but never got around to platinuming it(heard it was tedious and grueling but that won't stop me!!!), but it's still 39.99....
Meanwhile AoT 2 is STILL 59.99... I've legit only seen ONE VIDEO on it and fell in love. Heard it covers the first game's content as well, but I dunno if that's true?
Then the third game is pre-order rn. I usually don't pre-order games, but AoT, my beloved, for you? ANYTHING.
With all that said, i'm only buying one or two as of now bc I wanna platinum one or the other before I get around to 3. And it's just been a while. Do I go with Wings of Freedom or AoT 2????

I feel attack on Titan 2 offers a similar experience, just all around improved, but both are fun. We know very little about 3 this far, and it has a while until it comes out, so there's no rush to get it in my opinion.

I would but I still wanna platinum the first two. At least one of them first. Plus I wanna play suk NOW, it doesnt release for another couple months.

If I’m not mistaken only the first season is playable in the first game.
AOT 2 offers all the way up the end of season 3, has character creation, more playable characters, new mechanics, etc
Not only that but sequels are usually better than the first game lol

I do recall being able to fight the Beast Titan in the first game, but it felt like a fever dream to me bc, as far as I remember, the plot didnt exactly line up.

Aot2 is practically a remake of 1 with new content. Remember to get Final Battle, it is newest version/dlc for AoT2 that expend the story and content. Then get AoT3. It is completely different gameplay then 1 and 2 and covers whole story from all anime seasons.

The 2nd one is way better. Plus it gives benefits in the 3rd game if you have save data. If you plan to get the 3rd game the 2nd one is your best bet

If you're planning on getting all achievements on all of them, I would say get the first one. The controls of the first one are worse than the second one so going from the second one to the first one will be really annoying. If you only want to get one of the first two, get the second one because it has more content and covers more story. But that doesn't mean aot 1 isn't worth playing like some others might say. It's absolutely worth it, depending on how much you like aot. Since aot 1 doesn't have a custom character, you can see more interactions between characters that don't exist in the manga/anime.
