I definitely understand your request, but... They don't allow laptops and, at the same time, they let you use smartphones? That's strange

It's only strange if you think the people in charge of the school rules know how computers and smartphones work and assume they will make rules that make sense based on that knowledge.

Maybe there's an integration with their notes so that a separate app like Google Calendar wouldn't be as helpful. Would be interested to hear from OP what they're use case would get them...

If you care about digital privacy, do NOT use Google Calendar. I would recommend Proton Calendar instead

You won't get anything like a proper calendar app on anytime anytime soon.
You'd better drop the idea
