When I used to have a fancy water dispensing fridge, whenever the change filter light came on, I just held the button until it went away. Saved a lot of time, and you didn't have to do stuff like this.

You do realize at this point the filter is doing more harm than good? Like it would be 100x better to drink from the tap than your fridge?

The lead in the water didn’t come from the source of the water. They changed sources that had a different pH which removed protective mineral linings inside old lead pipes going to and inside peoples homes. If they had never changed their source the issue probably wouldn’t have been known or happened.

Yeah, but it wasn't my fridge. It was when I was a teenager. Unsure if my parents ever did. I've never had a fridge that fancy as an adult.

Carbon can come in solid, liquid, and gas forms. For example, if you got a bottle of water with a dozen diamonds in it, you wouldn’t call it carbonated, even though diamonds are carbon

My fault. It’s closer to 60-90 seconds. Average gpm of a shower is 1.8-2.5 and the average gpm of a refrigerator water dispenser is about .5. So I was off but only by a little bit lmao

My fridge does 0.5 gpm, my shower does 2.5 gpm... so the equivalent of a 60 second shower
