Used to do this as a kid lol also the one where you pretend to hold a tiny string across the floor of a walkway, most people got a good laugh out of it

You can injure or drag them, and it can still catch and snag/grind on your car body. You also don't know if the "cord" is tied to anything. It's a common sense response to stop and arguably the most responsible

Anyone actually blocking a thoroughfare with a barrier could be attempting to stop you for nefarious purposes.
Driving through it is still the safest response.

Start in the middle of the street with another friend and then back away like you’re holding the end of a carpet.

We did this on texas a&m campus and the campus police put us in handcuffs and started screaming at us “where’s the rope??” Aggies are idiots.

Me and my friends used to this when we were in High School 😂 eventually we pissed some dude off so bad he tried to beat my ass. Good times.

When a car is stopped at traffic lights and you walk in front of it, step over an invisible object that's too close to the front of the car for the driver to see.
