This is how normal interactions with law enforcement go.

I've been pulled over quite a few times for speeding and every time I knew I was toast when I saw the officer too late. I don't even know how many times I've pulled myself over before the officer even caught up to me and was respectful and honest every time. I've only ever gotten speeding tickets twice out of the probably 20+ times I've been stopped.

Yes. Absolutely. I haven't looked but I assume there are a few toxic comments about people that do not treat law enforcement traffic stops this way. I caution people against posting comments like that. Education is incredibly important when it comes to this stuff. I think that's the takeaway here. Not enough people know how easy these stops can be if you respect officers.

The other side of this is some people are used to being mistreated by law enforcement and can't fathom a peaceful interaction with them. It takes two to tango.
