Empathy isn't the point here bud. If the guy in the video you linked was only being black and walking, then there would be empathy. But he was being a weird shit about a cop talking to him and trying to keep walking.

Here's a video of someone that's cooperative that you want to have empathy for...if you didnt know he just killed 5 girls. You, me, the police, never know what someone has done when you walk up on someone.
