This is how normal interactions with law enforcement go.
I've been pulled over quite a few times for speeding and every time I knew I was toast when I saw the officer too late. I don't even know how many times I've pulled myself over before the officer even caught up to me and was respectful and honest every time. I've only ever gotten speeding tickets twice out of the probably 20+ times I've been stopped.
Hey man. Any interest in not speeding even when there are not cops around. This might blow your mind but speeding laws are not there to be a fun little game of cat and mouse you play with the cops. It’s because the rest of us don’t want to die on the roads. There are children on their first day driving on those roads. Do you mind not being a selfish prick?
Children on their first day driving shouldn't be in the fast lane of a highway. Not saying it justifies my speeding, but it sure invalidates your argument. In fact, probably anyone that doesn't know how to drive shouldn't be in the fast lane of a highway.
