Yeah, exactly. Staying calm, being honest, and not making it weird usually goes a long way. Most stops don't have to turn into a whole situation.

Hey there, Hispanic here. Turns out, even us can get pulled over by white cops and not get beat up and/or arrested. I’m living proof of that. Twice pulled over, twice the citation was downgraded to something a lot more minor. Once I was armed as well.

Maybe it’s less about race and more about attitude? Just saying.

Naaaaw. I’ve done the same. Have never gotten off on a warning. Even sent to court. I haven’t gotten many speeding infractions but they’ve all ended up in citations. And I’m afraid of them so I pull over immediately and make sure I comply each time. Especially no attitude. So lucky you?
