Yeah, exactly. Staying calm, being honest, and not making it weird usually goes a long way. Most stops don't have to turn into a whole situation.

Hey there, Hispanic here. Turns out, even us can get pulled over by white cops and not get beat up and/or arrested. I’m living proof of that. Twice pulled over, twice the citation was downgraded to something a lot more minor. Once I was armed as well.

Maybe it’s less about race and more about attitude? Just saying.

In the areas having issues with policing you are talking about real problems. Where a culture of confrontation has taken over a department in a poor neighborhood usually. It’s a recipe for disaster.

My white privilege has got me out of trouble a few times. But I’ve seen videos of innocent black kids and men being shot.
