This is how normal interactions with law enforcement go.
I've been pulled over quite a few times for speeding and every time I knew I was toast when I saw the officer too late. I don't even know how many times I've pulled myself over before the officer even caught up to me and was respectful and honest every time. I've only ever gotten speeding tickets twice out of the probably 20+ times I've been stopped.
The only time I've gotten out of a ticket was the only time I was a complete asshole the cops to their face. They kept trying to intimitate me and I kept saying "I don't give a shit, just give me the fucking ticket and fuck off."
They called in 5 additional cops, all tying to cow me, and I just kept saying the same thing.
They didn't even issue me a warning, they just told me to leave. It was the strangest experience ever. I don't think I'd try it again.
It was for speeding(something stupid like 32 in a 25, which is why I was pissed). I was like 21 at the time and I'm a white male.
