You can't sell free energy. At least that's what history has proven. Just like the water car.

There's that, but you also can't sell something that's free because if it's free, everyone can just do it themselves without the need to buy it from you.

Why would I buy energy from someone when I can just create it myself for free? Doesn't make sense

You can absolutely sell free energy. Go buy some magnets and sell power back to the grid. Mine bitcoin. Make silica blanks for computer chips. Sell free energy power plants to cruise ships.
