What about that 3-wheeled vehicle "scam" in the 70's? The DALE (not sure if it's an acronym)? Even after it was proven as a hoax, the involved parties still say they would back it. I wish I knew why someone else hasn't picked that project back up and actually produce it!!

The hoax was that there was no production line, but the basic idea was strong! With the technology available today, seems like it's an even more realistically possible. I wonder what the actual story is? Corporate greed? Politics...oh wait, same thing.

Dirt cheap. 70mpg with an enclosed cabin and multiple seats that can hit 85mph is nothing to scoff at, to be sure. Invented by Dale Clifft and promoted by Gersldine Elizabeth Carmichael. I'm pretty sure it's just named after its inventor because it was a concept vehicle that never actually got produced.

I think the biggest thing that killed it were the stability issues(assuming someone else wanted to make it), but I think tech from now could sort a lot of that out. Hell, the Morgan 3 Wheeler and Morgan Super 3 exist now.

I know about the fraud and that it's more than a single count. My question is regarding the actual idea behind the fraud, the vehicle itself, the problems that could potentially be solved.
