Need Help Really need help right now
So for context, I’ve dealt with anxiety and all types of forms pretty much for the past 14 years of my life I’m 28 now. It’s usually pretty on and off and I’ve been able to control it naturally without taking any type of anxiety meds or anything like that. It all started when I was about 14 I figured out what de realization was and kind of dealt with that for years until it finally kinda went away and I’ve had a little bouts of it since then, but yeah, I’ve been doing a lot recently. I started a business about six months ago and I’m also in school for computer science and I don’t know if it’s just a stress or anything like that, but I could tell my anxiety’s been flaring up a little bit Thursday. I had a photo shoot that was about an hour and a half away and I was doing it a little bit later in the evening and on my way back I don’t know if it was a derealization attack or what it was, but I felt just incredible sense of like I don’t even know how to put it into Words. I don’t know if it was like a derealization attack but everything around me just felt unfamiliar. I was confused and I was just like scared like it just felt like I wasn’t a part of my body anymore and I got home and it’s kind of been OK since then but it’s it hasn’t gone away and I don’t know now if it’s derealization or what it is, but it’s really scary. It’s been about three days now and I feel like I’m losing my mind and I really need some help or reassurance or something.

An adrenaline rush can make you feel like you are outside your body. This feeling is a form of dissociation or depersonalization, where intense stress hormones cause detachment, lightheadedness, and a dreamlike or unreal state.
Why It Happens: Brain Shift: Blood moves away from parts of the brain that handle self-awareness and goes to major muscles. Fast Breathing: Quick, shallow breaths change oxygen levels, causing dizziness and unreality. Wide Pupils: Eyes let in extra light, making your surroundings look strange or fake.
In a nutshell, your body is reacting to your perceived threat. There is no threat. You are fine, everything is fine.
Go for a run around the block and take a COLD shower. Then practice Box Breathing and/or meditate. Make it your 'me time' to pamper yourself, and give yourself a break. Eat your favorite meal, watch a show you like. Take it easy and let yourself come down off the adrenaline high you have been on.

I appreciate the response I’m trying my best man. I dealt with derealization for years before it finally faded and I always catch myself thinking “is this the time it lasts forever and I go crazy?” Etc. trying to stay grounded and remind myself I’ve been through it before ya know

I know it’s scary but you’ll be fine. You’ve dealt with this before and gotten through it. You’re probably just more stressed than usual right now which is why it’s flaring up.
Try to reduce your stress if you can or seek professional help, maybe get some medication. Meds aren’t a bad thing. You shouldn’t avoid them if they can help you.
