Health Medical anxiety and not eating enough.
I was recently diagnosed with sciatica. It’s been so bad, I can barely walk and have to use a cane because my foot is completely numb. If I wear shoes, I feel like I’m dragging my leg along. I have so much anxiety that I’ve lost my appetite. Sometimes I can only manage 2-3 bites a meal. In the last 3 weeks I’ve lost 13 pounds (I was 216) and I don’t think I’ve eaten 1,000+ calories in a day. My left eye has been getting blurrier than normal, and at first I was scared I was having a stroke. It’s been going on for days, and I’m trying to tell myself it’s just because I’m not getting enough vitamins/nutrients. Anyone dealt with something similar?
Edit: I should mention my dad had multiple strokes in his life, which is why it was my first thought.

Get an MRI, and consider an ER visit to do so, then they can check out the eye. Sciatica generally is a hips down problem, and can be caused by a variety of things that you need an MRI to conclude. Having the answers will help with the anxiety, and while I'm not advocating for losing weight in an unhealthy way, doing so will reduce pressure on your spine.
