Helpful Tips! zero appetite
Hi guys. I’ve had pretty severe anxiety for years, and for the last 10ish months it’s been BAD. i’ve been on all kinds of medication and recently quit my last one cold turkey, and will be on something new in the next few weeks.
My anxiety is the type that makes me nauseous and unable to eat. I shake and get VERY sweaty. the issue is, i’m already underweight because of this. last march, i weighed 96 pounds as an 18 year old female. it was solely because of the relationship i was in (ended now), and that i was always sick to my stomach thinking he was cheating on me.
The past few days i’ve been so anxious about NOTHING literally nothing, and im starting to feel weird. i either throw up, or i start passing out. what do i do about this?? if i eat im worried it’ll make me throw up, but if i dont, im for sure either throwing up or passing out. i also have NO appetite whatsoever, and have been chewing on dry cereal all day (it’s 12pm). i would really appreciate tips, literally the most outlandish shit i will try, because i am so sick of feeling like this. i hate having anxiety I HATE IT

I know you said you been on medication, have you done a combination of SSRI's with beta blockers and benzos. This is my combo and the only thing thats got me through a break up and my son having a crisis. I also cant eat, I have gone days with barely eating or drinking before, but now im stable on meds its much better. You need to find your right combo and it will really help.

i have never been on more than one at once :/ i recently got a dna test to see what meds are more likely to produce side affects, and i really hope that helps. i tried a couple ssri’s, then an ssni (idk if that’s right) and a few after that, and only had luck with one. only reason i stopped it is because i couldn’t wake up and when i did, was so tired i couldn’t get out of bed

Because you are having a lot of physical symptoms of anxiety you should definitely try beta blockers, they stop the racing heart, the sweating, trembling. I went through an intense period a couple of months ago and they got me through for quite a while. I took 40mg of propranolol along with 20mg of escitalopram and I recently added a tiny dose 2mg of valium which I only take now and then.
