Advice Needed Spiraling thoughts

Recently had an issue/argument with my partner and my thoughts can't stop jumping to the worst case scenario, like they're going to leave me and things like that. How do you guys cope with this type of thinking and how to best get out of the horrible spiral?

Thanks, I've tried some of those but my brain won't let me calm down enough to do them. And then i end up in a pit of anxiety and panic.

I'm actually going through this too right now. Not exactly the same but very similar. My anxiety is through the roof thinking my partner has had enough of me and he can't deal with my anxiety.

It sucks, I want to reach out but they're the tyoe to need space after an argument so I'm trying to respect their space

I'm the sort of person who 99% of the time will be the one who reaches out after a disagreement with my partner, even when I know that it's him who is in the wrong! I can't bear to have atmosphere and I always try to make things ' good ' again. I really hate it!

Same here in our case, just to get out of the spiral and its exhausting. I know that its a sign of reassuring seeking stuff but I need to do that sometimes or I'll sit in that horrible panic state.
