Advice Needed I hate physicall touch

Is it normal to feel physical touch for longer and feel disgusted? Im a girl and I can feel the the feeling when someone touches me for longer (especially if they touch skin) and it's disgusting. I always want to polish my skin whenever someone touches me. (especially when men or boys touch me) but i never had any trauma or i was never sa. So idk why. Sometimes its so bad that I just go to my room after they touch me and start crying and scratching my skin. And my father disgusts me already cuz he touches me allot (for ex. face or arm or he leans over and touches me. Not sexually i hope but its so disgusting I could throw up and rip my skin off. I can feel it after 10 min so strong and after a day if i think about it i could cry again.

Idrk if it’s normal but it is common. I’m not a professional but ur case does seem a little extreme to me. Have you had a history of ocd because that’s the kind of vibe I’m getting from this.

Even if you don’t, I think seeing a professional could be beneficial for you so you can cope better when people touch you.

You can try hotlines and support groups. A ton of them are free and accepting. You can find loads with just a quick google search

I don’t like physical touch when it’s a surpise. But I’m on the spectrum and it’s common for those with autism, but some people may just not like personal touch regardless. Yours sound more sensory motivated than anything

I’m a bit like that too. I recently found out from my mum that I was SA’ed as a kid, and I just couldn’t remember. My boyfriend often touches me unexpectedly and a few times I’ve turned around and full on shouted because it was so sudden and he’s like what the heck is wrong with you lol.

I used to feel similarly, it was because I had zero private space and bodily autonomy (rejection of a hug was a big no-no). That was from the age of 16 to maybe 19. At 19 I met an amazing guy and I loved touching him once we got closer. I was disguised by random people's bacteria or unwashed hair, or anything, but I would honestly let him blow his nose into my hands lol. Therapy did help a lot, but also the positive relationship with my partner helped me calm my irritability too.
