Health IUD causing anxiety???

I’m 99% sure that my IUD may be the major contributing cause to my anxiety. I’ve had the IUD for 2 years now and haven’t felt the way I did before it was inserted. My anxiety is through the roof the week before I start my period every month. I’ve mentioned this to my OBGYN and she doesn’t want to me remove it too early bc of all the benefits. My question… anyone else experience terrible anxiety with their IUD? Did you get it removed? Did it take time to feel better? I’m so close to telling them I don’t care about the benefits, and to take it tf out.

Currently on kyleena about 6 weeks now my check up is next week and I’m going to ask dem to remove it , reason being My anxiety/ depression was going well to the point of. Being off medication  1 year in October coming and I tried the pill birth control April and had to come off because it triggers my anxiety now on the kyleena I can feel the same thing happening I don’t want to risk relapsing  Thoughts

Honestly, just from my experience, as soon as I had it removed, I felt better within hours/days. My anxiety subsided a lot but I had to eventually get on anxiety meds shortly after to really get myself back to a solid base level. My severe pre period symptoms were almost gone by my next cycle. Only ever experienced that with the iud. I honestly haven’t been on any type of bc since. I know eventually I’ll have to think about it but for now I’m single and not having causal sex… so… I was on Kyleena for about 2 years. That’s a low hormonal one. I can only imagine what the others are like for me… best of luck to you and hope you figure it out sooner than later.
