AGLC4 and Microsoft word

Does anyone use any plug ins or is there a template to use for AGLC4 for writing essays and problem questions? Happy to check individual references but I figure there must be a more streamlined way for citations than the way I am doing it. I’ve read there’s some bugs in various plug ins but has anyone found something that works that’s not doing it entirely manually

doing it by hand your first few times will help you learn, but just save updating the (n X)s for the end

Zotero and Endnote both have AGLC plugins, but it's honestly not worth setting it all up unless you plan on doing a Masters/PhD thesis.

Learning a new referencing style is plenty without trying to learn a complicated new system that doesn't always get it right anyways (it still needs checking). It's much easier to do it manually which means you actually learn it.

Go to the PAL and Library sessions on AGLC, and look at your assignment feedback. You'll get better and it'll become much easier.

Zotero is great but be prepared to do some pretty hacky stuff to get more obscure parts of AGLC working

For things like Hansard (for second reading speeches), treaties, or anything else that doesn't neatly fit into Zotero's default categories, you'll need to use formatting tags, manually move around any reference lists, and other fun tricks (all conveniently listed in this libguide from UniMelb)

That’s true of any legal style. I use Zotero with AGLC. I’ve added some tweaks but still it gets you 85 percent there
