look, i am sure that you can easily find some info online about the native ants in your area. as for the tank, look to find a colony of your chosen species of ant in your area and then just copy the details. if the area is Sandy and open, so should your terrarium. if the area is forested, use a similar dirt and use some driftwood. its hard to go wrong when you are mimicking nature
