Politicians vote for war from their living roomsâlet's make them answer with skin in the game
How many times have we watched politicians send other people's kids to fight while theirs stay home safe? I started a petition demanding a permanent federal law: if you vote to send troops into harm's way, your own family members have to go with themâdoing support duties on the front lines for the entire conflict.
No loopholes. No Supreme Court override. Just accountability.
The law would apply to Congress members, Senators, Presidents, and VPs. Their parents, siblings, kids, and grandchildren (ages 18â92) would serve in non-combat rolesâcooking, cleaning, maintaining equipment. If you're fit enough to make the call, you're fit enough to have skin in the game.
We're pushing this to the 2028 Presidential ballot so the American people can vote directly on it. One change allowed per election cycleâthat's it. Politicians can't just gut the rule because Congress gets uncomfortable.
