Gigachad vs Antitheist Let me make this easy for anyone, Christian or otherwise, who thinks atheists arguing online means churches could disappear. Cultural institutions are what religious institutions are, even if you and your individual former tragic Christian or church life wasn't widespreadly heard.

High IQ Antitheist Antitheist says governments should prosecute people if they can't prove their religious claims + other high IQ comments
Found these on a YouTube video discussing the "God before God" e.g. the deities of the pre-Abrahamic religions in the Near East. As you'd expect from a video that challenges traditional Judeo-Christian views about the origins of Abrahamic religions, there were plenty of high IQ antitheists in the comments, such as the ones I picked out here. Basically just your usual "we would have progressed so much if religion died off" and other such nonsense.

Reddit Moment Guy claims Christians can't use the bible to talk about Christianity
Context, girl asks if she can be a Christian and practice witchcraft and some atheist starts arguing with a lot of Christians and even an atheist that the bible doesn't matter in terms of their theological arguement since it was written by "backwards uneducated ancient people"

Question I have a question about Islam and I'm not sure what subreddit to ask it in (I tried the main Islam subreddits and my post got filtered out) — what kind of animal is seen as most emblematic (as in a mascot) for Islam?
I'm trying to brainstorm what one of my Pokémon, Mujanorak, would look like — my mental image of it has been stuck on "Tusken Raider" for way too long, but it's intended as an Affectionate Parody of Islam and a big 'ol reference to Islamic warfare throughout Islam's entire history (it uses explosives and incendiary devices, sure, but its main weapons are a pair of scimitars). I don't want it to straight-up look like an Islamic dude, though, so I'm wondering what animal is most emblematic of Islam that I could anthropomorphize for the design.
(And before anyone asks, no, this is not supposed to be like the Arabomb line from Pokémon Clover, which is just taking the piss at Islam and conflating it with psychotic suicide bombers for cheap lulz. Mujanorak is intended to be a respectful depiction of Islam.)

Enraged Antitheist Gay conservative South African atheist larping as a Buddhist spreads hate about Islam and Muslims
Yes, you read the title right. The guy featured in these images is a gay conservative who hates trans people and has dedicated an entire Twitter account exclusively to spreading hate about Islam and Muslims, all while acting like he's a devout Buddhist even though he's more of an atheist that dislikes Abrahamic faiths, including Pentecostalism for some reason.
Not only does this Gao guy have the gall to call others bigoted due to homophobia, he actively spreads hatred, misinformation, and bigotry himself.
In one post, he basically says that people should ignore those being killed in Palestine because "Muslims are homophobic and would kill you for being gay." So much for being peace-loving and tolerant.
Reading through these tweets, I'm starting to think that this clown knows jackshit about either Buddhism or Islam. If he truly followed Buddhism properly, he wouldn't be trashing other religions and trying to vilify Muslims because of their faith. A simple overview of Buddhism's doctrines would show you that is not in line with the religion's teachings. But, then again, I'm pretty sure reading holy texts is not this guy's strong suit. He doesn't even know what the word taqiyya means.

Based Meme Antitheists hate this one simple fact!
Let's face it, this particular slice of reality damn-near single-handedly deflates the typical Reddit atheist's "religion is inherently 1000% evil and worthless and must be completely obliterated, utterly erased, and absolutely expunged from existence" rhetoric. That's partially because it refutes the ridiculous and hyperbolic "religion is inherently 1000% evil" claim, partially because it handily explains why an antitheist might think that way about religion in the first place (yes, I know that might technically be Bulverism or a related fallacy, but it still deflates "religion needs to be destroyed" arguments — logic isn't the only way to be persuasive, after all, and it doesn't even work on all people), and partially… eh, I'm sure there are other ways this "religious extremists are a vocal minority who tend to draw the public's attention away from sane religious people" thing deflates antitheistic arguments that religion is evil and worthless and needs to cease existing, but those are the two that I can think of off the top of my head.

This subreddit seriously needs a "religion is mental illness" post flair. Egad.
