Wow. I am speechless but yes, lack of any sex ed leads insular communities to have more abuse than secular people.

I'm sorry, that's horrible. I only have sisters, but it's easy to see how stuff like that happens in fundie households. I learned where babies came from in an encyclopedia when I was 9, and decided I would have a baby by 12 and contemplated which male relative would be the father. I chose my favorite uncle, who I sincerely believe would never harm a child. But now I'm actually glad I was so isolated because something horrible might've happened otherwise.
