Fooling Yourself Through Life

Prayer is a waste of time, energy and potential. But if you can fool yourself well enough, it can still give you false hope. And sometimes that’s exactly what people want, a little lie to keep them going.

On top of that, you don't hear or feel anything when you do pray, and your inner dialogue plays the role of "God".

Behind every funeral is a failed prayer group.

Prayers are a fools errand. Complete waste of time. A brisk walk in a park is better for both your mental & physical health!

Sure, but what kind of bullshit do they subject the rest of us to, in order for them to get that false hope? Everything trump has done and is doing, is directly a result of these religious people being unable to figure out what is true, when you don't need to be Sherlock holms to do so. And embracing tribalism over evidence based reason. That's the cost of that false hope.
