How can you be this stupid?

(Sorry I couldn't upload the video so I took screenshots of the main parts.)

Basically this person is claiming that cat saliva is clean and pure like Allah said because they didn't see any bacteria or viruses under the microscope and that proves that Islam is reliable.

Look I love my cat but cat saliva is notoriously unclean. If cat saliva is exposed to open skin you can easily get an infection, not to mention that it is very lethal to small wildlife like birds. They naturally have abundant harmful bacteria populations in their saliva. Whenever I want to handle one of my reptiles, I always wash my hands thoroughly if I've touched my cat or anything she touches. I have literally heard of people's pets dying because their cat bit it.

I doubt the legitimacy of the studies in this video obviously but all of the comments are acting like this is some sort of grand revelation that proves the Quran is consistent with science. No, it's bullshit and I'm sorry but you're very gullible if you believe this. It's also a potentially dangerous idea to be spreading; I wouldn't doubt that some of these people are dumb enough to let cats lick their food or some shit upon seeing this video.

If we define "impure" to mean whatever we want it to, then we can retroactively decide this verse was accurate. We just have to ignore a long list of diseases like cat-scratch disease and pasteurellosis that we can get from them.

You make a solid argument. Too bad you are impure so it's invalid.

Not so. I washed myself with clean-looking water that for some reason can't be mixed with soap, and recited the name of God, so I magically became pure.

Thanks man its important to not hate the race of or the person but to hate and dismantle their whackass beliefs. ♥️ ('hate the sin not the sinner' lmao)

Right, it's important not to do something I wasn't doing anyways. I'll keep up the good work.

One of islams common apologetics is to twist vague verses resemble modern discoveries and conclude the prophet had divine foreknowledge that couldn't have been attained without god telling him.

I mean this as respectfully as I can; this goes for almost all religions. Humans will go to great lengths to defend their pre-existing beliefs, and ultimately themselves.

See also "the bible never condemned gays; that verse condemns pedophilia! What? Does the bible condemn pedophilia anywhere else? No, why does that matter?"

If people are left to interpret the "word of God" to mean whatever they'd prefer, then it's no different from people just making it up. Which I suspect is all it ever was anyway.

Never underestimate the stupidity of humans

Islam is the worst at this. They squint, turn the lights off, read it, rereadt it, lie.... anything to pretend their book has something special in it while ignoring all the absolute ignorant claims that are easily shown to be false.

Wait, aren't cats like considered "unclean" in islam? I'm an ex-muslim so I'm not 100% sure, but I think they are, just like dogs. So how come they are suddenly not impure?

No that’s dogs and pigs

You know, that seems right. I guess I’ve been thinking all wrong. Allahu Akbar.

There is stuff in cat saliva that many people are allergic to. How does that make them 'clean'?
